It's a simple dormitory apartment with a well equipped kitchen, single beds, a desk and most of the things you need for a short stay. The basic sports equipment in the closet was the best thing that I've never seen anywhere else before. Typical Finnish breakfast that's included into the price is also a plus.

A small town in East Finland that has some good restaurants and local coffee shops but there is not much to do. The town is not touristic and there are not that many places to visit. However, the Botanical gardens are interesting and the Joensuu church is also worth visiting.

Majority of inhabitants in Joensuu goes around by bicycles. I did enjoyed going around by bike. So many nice places to visit. So many good restaurants. It is a good place to visit with a family or group of friends.

It was super clean and not noisy at all. The sauna was nice too. It got more the feeling of a hotel than of a hostel. I can highly recommend a stay there. I had to leave early in the morning and they brought me a breakfast the day before to me room. It was more variety than I expected. Super kind of them!! I will definitely stay there again! :)

I had an issue with something in my room, and was prepared to give a lenghty explanation, but the receptionist found an immediate solution in an effective and helpful manner. This friendly "customer first" attitude makes me want to come back. The absolute highlight of the stay was the generous breakfast spread with a good, varied selection to choose from.

It is across the way from the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is large and the rooms are modern and clean. We had great breakfasts and also visited the hotel's sauna for an extra 15 euros. It had two hot tubs, a cold tub, sauna, steam room, and an "experience" shower not to be missed.
