The location was excellent for the purpose of my trip which was to attend to a rugby game at the nearby stadium. The area is peaceful, safe and quiet. It is 20 minutes to downtown by a free tranway.

It is incredibly quiet despite being central to all the key sites in Nantes (Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens, Chateau, Cathedral etc) and 5 mins from TGV station. My room was very large, bright and airy with a super comfortable mattress and beautiful garden view. Nice French breakfast (including fresh fruit cocktail & brown bread) and excellent coffee of course. My host negotiated a taxi run out of town for me.
