Located in Curtea de Argeş, 14 km from Vidraru Dam, Barlogul din Vidraru provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

Very close to glacial Lake Bâlea, this is the best accommodation on Transfăgărăşan road with stunning view of the waterfall and mountains, which can also be admired from the restaurant while enjoying your meal. The food is well cooked, breakfast is good and varied. Prices are decent considering it's a remote location. The staff was friendly, serving was quick. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a relaxing time and we will certainly be back.
